DAY 25: Diving in-

When I started this blogging "adventure" I knew there would be some days that were the equivalent of running "junk" miles.  Not that you are mailing it in, but you are just running without pace or mileage goals.  Kind of like lagniappe. I ran into my friend Frank McMains today over coffee.  He's a great photographer, writer and overall good dude.  You can check out his work HERE.  Anyhow, I don't feel I am anywhere near the writer he is, but we were discussing the differences between writing and other creative processes and how they different.  With writing, we both agreed, you don't really have to know how it's going to end, or how you are going to get there, you just have to dive in.

When we do this and we do it consistently, what we also both agreed upon is that both the quality of the good posts AND the quality of the "junk" posts improves.  So your best posts are better and your worst posts are less worserer (I made that word up).

So today, if you think you have any inkling of writing, or doing anything.  Agree to be consistent with it and dive in.  You won't be disappointed.
