You exist

It’s 5in  by 2.5 and if you stop to think about it. It’s were the perception of you now resides.

A small window with enormous power. More powerful than the computer that ran the original space shuttle, lives in your pocket or purse or continually in your hand.

It houses your world and moreover it hosts the persona we put out into the ether.

But never forget, there’s a real you. That bleeds and hurts and can cook a bitchin shrimp scampi. A real you that’s not a stream of pics and motivational memes.

Never forget that beyond the 12.5 sq inches of gorilla glass, there’s a girl who likes to kickboxing or run. A guy who’s making a cypress table and a kid that actually knows how to write in cursive.

It’s super easy to forget we exist beyond these little screens, so  pinch yourself or jump in a pool and listen to the bubbles and then the quiet. And remember. You exist.
